About

Two jurisdictions. One engagement.

I'm Kelvin Tran, an immigration lawyer admitted in New York and Victoria, Australia. I am both a US and Australian citizen, and I have personally held both a green card and E-3 visas. I built E-3 Pathway because Australians in tech and finance should not have to choose between boutique fees and commodity assembly-line processing.

Before founding E-3 Pathway, I practised in immigration and corporate law environments serving professionals and employers with cross-border plans.

I worked at Arnold Bloch Leibler and Minter Ellison across Melbourne and Sydney, advising on high-stakes matters where precision and clear process both matter.

Working between Australia and the United States made the same pattern obvious: visa applicants were often pushed toward either expensive boutique retainers or high-volume services with limited strategic attention.

E-3 Pathway is built to sit in that middle ground with transparent fixed fees, focused immigration expertise, and direct lawyer involvement from start to finish.

Why this firm exists

Productized. Transparent. Dual-qualified.

The Australian visa market is split into two extremes, and clients feel it immediately.

At one end, high-volume processing can treat complex professional cases as interchangeable. At the other end, premium retainers can price out applicants who still need thoughtful legal work.

E-3 Pathway exists to offer a disciplined middle model: rigorous immigration strategy, direct counsel access, and fixed fees that are clear before work begins.

I'd rather be transparent about pricing and lose the case than fit every case into one comprehensive package.
